Haaaaaaaan

Something Han Solo related D.P.S.C.
Done in an hour, hence the crappy line work, horrible color scheme, and obvious unfinished state

IL class assignments

Two projects from Illustration class. The first one is based on little Red Riding Hood, done in black and red ink then scanned and altered on photoshop.
The second project is a book cover done for your book of choice. I chose Fell by David Clement-Davies. Done completely digital on photoshop.

Pen and ink study for IL media class

Second project for Illustration, this time Masquerade. Black pen and brush ink

Monthly Sketchbook Dump

I'm going to try and make it a thing now to post sketchbook pages at the end of each month. No promises as to whether or not I'll actually keep it up.

But anyways, here is just a random assortment of pages I scanned. There's a lot more, but its mostly scribbly sketchy thumbnails no one wants to see and that no one besides me would understand.

Scrapped idea for Illest

Practice with brush pen and ink

I was on a Game of Thrones kick from the last drawing, so I kept going with my favorite female character whose name I'm too lazy to look up on google to make sure I spell it right

Strengths and Differences classmates in spaaaaaace, and... I don't really know what the guy with the cigar is

One of my Red Riding Hood thumbnails for illustration class, and some wolf studies

Airport people. Almost as much fun to draw as mall or beach people.

Just a silly RedRidingHood drawing and then the actual thumbnail I'm going with for my final, with some tweaking done on the rough

More Strengths and Differences classmates. I'm going to become a pro at drawing the backs of peoples heads thanks to this class

The guy from the movie "Crash" and some studies of a chinless guy who looked like he belonged on the Simpsons. And then just some chicks with crazy hair and that one with the messed up leg.

First Dipsy Meeting of the year!

First D.P.S.C. meeting of the year, and I won the prize, The Art of Paranorman! The theme was "fastest dwarf in Middle Earth." So I gave him a pet warg/hyena/cheetah as his steed.

Flame on

One of my favorite pokemon and favorite princess from Adventure Time. Wanted to draw both, so I drew them at the same time.

Merida and Angus

In honor of the movie BRAVE by Disney Pixar, a small illustration of the main princess herself, Merida and her trusty Clydesdale, Angus. Seriously awesome movie, will be seeing it again and again, bravo Pixar.

Dos Doodles

An old pug that came to stay with us for a day. Always with the long red tongue lolling out.

Just a quick doodle of good ole Dadday

Mother's and Father's Day Gifts

For Mother's Day, I made a small book of illustrations of our dog Buddy, also aptly named Buddy the Wonder Dog. So I'm just going to post each of the drawings here.

For Father's Day, I drew Captain Randy steering his magnificent sailboat, Stargazer. He's the perfect modern day pirate.

Just Buddy being his usual silly self.

Arrgghhh, it be Captain Randy, a scurvy sailor indeed.
